Dana Sefcik

I’m a retired Middle and High Band Director of thirty three years and have been teaching private lessons for the past eight years Frisco ISD and Prosper ISD.  I graduated from Midwestern State University with a BME and was the first woman band director hired in Wichita Falls in 1976.  After spending a couple of years in Wichita Falls, I became an assistant 5A Band Director for many years at Newman Smith High School and Blalack Middle School in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. I moved to Prosper where I have lived and taught for the past fifteen years.  I have two children and three grandchildren who inspire me everyday!  Teaching has been and will always be my passion!
